Great breakfast spot! The French toast was fluffy and pretty good, and the bacon was crispy. The fried chicken benedict was also a hit, with a flavorful hollandaise sauce. The portions were generous, leaving us satisfied and stuffed. The coffee was your standard diner fare, but the friendly and helpful staff made up for it. The restaurant itself was clean and spacious, providing a comfortable dining experience. Overall, a solid choice for a satisfying breakfast/brunch.

Vibe: 1428 gives that "hipster" vibe the Haight is known for while still being down to earth and modest in appearance. Ample seating in a cozy modern breakfast diner setting. Service: amazing! Both employees working (young lady with dope facial piercings and man with tattoos) had good vibes and made sure my friend and I had a positive experience. Cali omelette: I needed vegetables and this delivered!! Everything was cooked and seasoned well, with the omelette being more on the less salty, more healthy side. My only change would be to have the broccoli cut in half since it was hard to cut and not easy to eat whole. The potatoes, however--star of the show! SO crispy and on the saltier side (which I don't mind). They pair really well with the squishier, more mild-flavored omelette.

Stopped by and had the Triple Haight, and Sunrise for breakfast. Great service, great food, good ass music, Jorge's the man! Really impressed.

Randomly stopped by during a walk through Haight and was pleasantly surprised by the amount of options on the menu. I didn't get to try the crepes but will definitely want to try one of their savory crepes in the future. They had a cute backyard patio that was sheltered and had great lighting for a nice morning brunch. This was my first time having a crab cake Benedict and it didn't disappoint. The cakes and potatoes were well fried and seasoned. Very filling meal!

I'm not sure how some of these faces seem to have the same menu and text, but despite a copy cat cage feeling, the food was executed very well and quickly. The ambiance doesn't really feel warm and particularly inviting, and the furniture is definitely in need of a refresh, but the food is still a good quality option. The potatoes were crispy and my Mediterranean crepe was hot, fresh, and executed well!

Seated for two for brunch on a Saturday. A big party just left as we were ordering, so we got seated right away! Very similar vibes and options as Crepevine and also the Grind in lower haight. Solid brunch spot, would come again!

We visited on the 4th of July for a poetry event on the back patio. The service at the counter was great and between the two of us we ordered fish tacos, a club sandwich, and a beer. I'm generally wary of restaurants that have too diverse of a menu, but I was pleasantly surprised with my club sandwich. B thought the tacos were okay but wished they were served hotter. I didn't know this place existed and it seems like a quiet gem of a spot on Haight. This isn't a destination restaurant for me but if we were back in the neighborhood and needed to grab a bite, I wouldn't hesitate to try something else from their menu.

Had some good food at this cafe in Haight-Ashbury. It has breakfast if you want to go early, but there's also the lunch and dinner options. 1428 Haight is known for crepes. Of course these are the breakfast pastries and not the creepy people. There's also burgers and stuff. Came later at lunch so we chose something appropriate. It's got a few burgers. There's a few options for vegetarians. Fewer than you would expect for around here but still has something good. It's about $15 for a burger, so not cheap but these are big thankfully. I got the Fiesta Veggie Burger. This had a homemade veggie patty made with black beans, chickpeas, cilantro, and corn. This was topped with avocados, crispy onion strings, fire roasted chiles, and roasted tomatoes, as well as truffle aioli, which is the one thing I left off. Also it came with a side of fries. There were plenty of these and it was a filling ass meal. Good food. It's just there's no alcohol here which is the only bad thing except for the price. There's some things including burgers that are okay for vegans and vegetarians.
